Alexius supported the Ministry of Labor of Guatemala in deploying their first extranet portal as part of its modernization process. The portal launched with 4,000 published documents including all the labor laws and an integrated labor rights calculation service. The Ministry continues to publish content in a decentralized manner.
Characterized by its repertoir of relevant and updated information and the audience driven structure facilitating all visitors to quickly find what they're looking for, the Ministry's portal is the second most visited government website in Guatemala and won an award as the best government website in 2005. The visits to the Ministry's portal are continuously increasing, as the knowledge of the information and services the portal provides expands. In 2008, the portal was receiving aproximately 1.5 million visits a month.
