The Supreme Justice Court of Honduras lacked a well defined path towards the modernization of its operations by leveraging technology and strengthening their IT infrastructure. While their goal is to effectively support the institutional operations and strengthening, the IT Department's staff was constantly dealing with day to day issues, distracting them focusing on more substantial activities. The institution's limited budget also deterred them from developing an institutional strategy.
Alexius worked with the Supreme Justice Court to draft its first Master ICT Strategy Plan. This established a roadmap identifying a series of projects which would strengthen the ICT infrastructure and support the modernization of the institution's core functions and internal transversal processes. Since the development of the Strategy Plan, the Supreme Justice Court has allotted sufficient resources to update and modernize its IT infrastructure following the Master ICT Strategy and now has an integrated platform linking most of its regional offices.
